SLC examinees to be distributed ID cards
The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sano Thimi, is preparing to distribute identity cards to examinees on the last day of the exam so that students do not face inconveniences while checking their results due to printing mistake in their name, address and date of birth.
The OCE is making such preparations to help SLC examinees check their results without any confusion, according to Examinations Controller Khagendra Nepal.
“We are going to distribute a special identity card to SLC examinees with details of information they provide during their exams so that they do not face inconveniences while looking for their results,” said Nepal.
He also mentioned that in case the details on the examination form and identity card differ, students can apply to their respective district education offices for corrections. As per the new system, the results of the SLC exams will be published in the letter grading system.
More than 600,000 are expected to participate in the SLC examinations beginning from April 10.
A total of 1,443 centres have been designated across the country for the SLC examinations, according to Nepal.
