SLC invigilators suspended on Day IV
Mahottari: Four invigilators were suspended on charges of indulging in irregularities on the fourth day of the SLC exams in Sarlahi today.
According to District Education Officer Nirmal Ghimire, a team from Education Ministry headed by Joint-Secretary Narayan Prasad Koirala suspended invigilators Bam Shankar Yadav from Janata Higher Secondary School ‘B’ center, Akhilekh Yadav and another one (whose identification is yet to be known) from Gauridanda Secondary School center.
Similarly, the team suspended invigilator Buddha Pokharel from Deurali Higher Secondary School centre. Police also arrested a science teacher from Bhrampura Higher Secondary School, while he was assisting the examinees to cheat at Jaleswor-based Mahendra Adarsha Secondary School centre.
A report from Bara said one examinee each from Nepal Rastriya Higher Secondary School Dumarwa-na, Bhojbhagati Higher Se-condary School Lipalimal and Nepal Rastriya Higher Secondary School centre Pattepur were suspended.
Similarly, 12 students were expelled from various exam centres in Gulmi district on charges of involvements in irregularities. According to DEO Morang, one Assistant Superintendent and three invigilators were suspended for involving in irregularities.
Assistant Superintendent Saroj Adhikari of Saptakoshi Boarding School was suspended for involving in irregularities, while two invigilators from Sunpakuwa Higher Secondary School, were suspended for the same reason.
