Stress on quality health, edu researches
The need of applying research-based practices in the health and education sectors in Nepal has been stressed.
Taking part in a five-day workshop on “Systematic Reviewing on Health Research” organised in Kathmandu jointly by Tribhuvan University and Bournenouth University, UK, experts concerned underscored the need of quality research in the health and education sectors.
The participants said researches conducted in the two sectors should be accessible to all and called for the use of statistics available on internet on the basis of their necessity and utility. Prof Ram Sharan Pathak of TU’s Central Department of Population Studies said the objective of the workshop was to enhance the research capacity in health and education sectors.
A total of 50 people, including university and college teachers, librarians, information specialist students, attended the workshop.
