Student dies falling off a school bus
Biratnagar: A student died while getting off a school bus at Tankisinbari-5, Gokuwa Chowk, in Morang district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Anil Kumar Majhi, 12.
The incident took place when Majhi was returning home after attending the exam at Birat Co-Operative English Boarding School located at Tankisinbari VDC-5. He fell down after skidding off a school bus (Ko 1 Kha 2669). Majhi died after the school bus ran over him.
Majhi was a fifth grader at the school. He died while undergoing treatment at Nobel Medical College.
Police has taken the bus driver and bus under control for further investigation.
