Students padlock CTEVT office
Itahari: Federal Student Union Limbuwan, a sister organisation of Federal Limbuwan State Council, today padlocked the office of Regional Director of The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Education (CTEVT ) here in Itahari.
Claiming that CTEVT had neglected their demand for proportional allocation of quotas in various courses on the basis of ethnic population, the Limbuwan student union padlocked the office of Regional Director Umesh Kumar Mishra indefinitely.
Dinesh Tumbapho, central secretary of the proposed Limbuwan state said the student union padlocked the office to draw attention to the demand for proportional admission of students on the basis of ethnicity, adding, “We padlocked as students have been compelled to pay huge amounts to study at CTEVT.”
