The British College welcomes students
The British College which offers students degrees from the University of the West of England has commenced their classes from April.
Currently, the college has only one course each at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The undergraduate students can take up Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and the course of Master’s in International Management is offered to graduate students.
Amandeep Mandal, admissions officer, adds, “We’ll have more courses starting either from September of this year or the latest by January 2013.”
The college timings for those pursing the Master’s course is from 6:30 to 8:30 in the morning while on Saturdays the timings are 9:30 in the morning to 2:30 in the afternoon.
On Sundays and Mondays, the Master’s students can enjoy their break and catch up on pending class work.
The undergraduate students are to report to the college at 9:30 in the morning and the college is over at 2:30 in the afternoon. The students have Saturdays and Wednesdays as their holidays. Apparently, the odd days off are to help the students in their class assignments.
For any of the first-year students paying the full course fee of 2,800 Pounds, an iPad 2G 16 GB will be provided, which is meant to aid them in their studies.
Around 400 students will be offered seats in the college for the session beginning October 2012.
The college is situated in the New Trade Tower in Thapathali, Kathmandu.
