Tribhuvan University (TU) and Macquarie University of Australia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to promote academic collaboration between the two universities.

As per the MoU, the TU and the Macquarie University will institute system to facilitate exchange of students, officials, academic materials and information. The two universities will also conduct joint research activities and organize seminars, conferences, lectures series and academic meetings in the years to come."This MoU will initiate the beginning of a deep and meaningful engagement in Nepal," read a statement from the Macquarie University.

The university also expressed that the tie-up will pave the way for a mutually beneficial outcomes in the higher education sector of the two countries.
