TU Service Commission padlocked
Kirtipur: Six unidentified persons on Tuesday padlocked the office of Tribhuvan University Service Commission. The office was distributing application forms as part of its process to recruit 230 employees –– 60 per cent from outside the Valley –– from Sunday when the persons entered the office and directed officials to stop distributing forms. Sources, however, said the six were Kirtipur residents close to UCPN-Maoist, who are demanding that the vacant posts be filled by candidates from within the Valley.
