TUTH team visits army colleges
Kathmandu: A team from the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) has observed the proposed medical and nursing colleges of the Nepali Army.
The nine-member team led by Dr Arun Sayami today observed the proposed nursing college of the Tri-Chandra Military Hospital in Mahankal, Kathmandu.
It also visited an under-construction building of the medical college in Bhandarkhal in the capital.
Issuing a press statement after the nine-member team’s visit today, the Nepali Army’s Directorate of Public Relations informed that the team observed the basic science complex, administrative complex, lab, academic building, office complex and hostels.
The medical college is affiliated to the TUTH’s Institute of Medicine, whereas the nursing college is affiliated to the Centre for Technical Education and Vocational Training.
Regular classes will be launched in both the colleges by next month, the army informed in its press statement.
