The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a four-and-a-half year integrated program followed by a compulsory internship training of one year of Tribhuvan University. Eight Medical Colleges offer MBBS program in Nepal with affiliation from Tribhuvan University.
Eligibility
- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized educational institution and passed with a minimum of 50 percent or 2.4 CGPA in the proficiency certificate level or Grade 12 Science group.

- Students from A-level or other similar programs with different grading systems should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects and passed with a minimum of 50 percent or 2.4 CGPA.

2. MBBS (Kathmandu University)
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a five-and-a-half-year-long undergraduate course of Kathmandu University which includes one year compulsory internship. Ten Medical Colleges offers MBBS program in Nepal with affiliation from Kathmandu University.

- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized educational institution and passed with a minimum of 50 percent or 2.4 CGPA in the proficiency certificate level or Grade 12 Science group.

PAHS' Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) curriculum emphasizes holistic care for the individual and community. The PAHS MBBS curriculum employs a variety of innovative strategies to prepare students to become doctors capable and willing to address Nepal's real health-care needs. PAHS graduates who studied under a scholarship scheme are required to work in rural areas for a set period of time as part of their service obligation. The total duration of PAHS MBBS curriculum is five year and eight months.
