National Banking Institute Limited (NBI) is a national level apex banking and finance academy established under the aegis of Nepal Bankers´ Association with support from Asian Development Bank with a vision to be the most preferable learning institute for providing and enhancing the competence of banking and financial service personnel in a changed environment. Apart from Nepal Banker's Association member banks, its promoters include Nepal Rastra Bank and Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd.

VACANCY NOTICE
NBI invites applications from self-motivated, dynamic and competent Nepali nationals for the following positions

Faculties-Banking/Microfinance (Full Time)
> Number Required: Few

Job Description:
> Develop and review curriculum for training courses,
> Review of contents and delivery of other trainers.
> Prepare case-study based training materials,
> Conduct Training Programs as a trainer,
> Draft role/position wise competency benchmark for the industry and upon request help Banks carry out their Training Need Assessment as per the benchmark.
> Liaise with concerned department heads of BFIs/MFIs for customizing courses
> Review text books of Certification Courses and ensure quality,
> Develop examination questions for certification courses/trainings/promotions/recruitments etc. and check answer sheets,
> Work as consultant in NBI’s consultancy services.
> Involve in research activities of NBI
> Help BFIs/MFIs plan and deliver training to all including employees of remote branches.

Qualification Required:
For Faculty-Banking : Master’s Degree in Management or relevant areas/ Chartered Accountancy Qualification with a bachelor’s degree.

For Faculty-Microfinance : Bachelor’s Degree in Management or relevant areas/Chartered Accountancy Qualification. Candidates with a Master’s degree shall be preferred.

Experience:
> At least 15 years of experience (with 10 years at managerial level) in Banking (for faculty-Banking) and Microfinance (for faculty – Microfinance). Preference shall be given to candidates having work experience in multiple areas like Credit, Operations etc, in banking (for faculty – Banking) and microfinance (for faculty – Microfinance).
> Having experience in training.

Terms of Service: Annual Contract basis

Skills & Knowledge required the positions:
> Self-driven, action oriented and passionate about educating Banking/Microfinance employees
> Very good communication and interpersonal skill
> Must be conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
> Fluency in English and Nepali.
