VACANCY NOTICE
National Cooperative Bank Limited (NCBL) was established in 2003, as the only bank in the cooperative movement of Nepal at national level, in exercise of the power conferred by the sub-section 4 of section 26 under the then prevailing Cooperative Act, 1992 (first amendment, 2000) and from the recommendation of Nepal Rastra bank (Central bank of Nepal) as an umbrella institution to provide banking and financial services to all its member cooperatives following the long and continuous demand and efforts of cooperators.
National Cooperative Bank Limited (NCBL) announces vacancy for the following positions:
1. Chief Finance Officer
- Designation : Manager/Assistant Manager
- Minimum Qualification: MASTERS
Description
- Master's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least a second division or equivalent marks and must have at least 3 years of work experience as an officer level in banks and financial institutions or co-operative or relevant area.
- Preference will be given to candidates having passed the Chartered Accountancy and having work experience in banks and financial institutions, have good knowledge of Nepal's accounting system and tax system, have data analysis and presentation skills, and have good knowledge of spreadsheet.
2. Chief Credit Business Officer
- Designation : Manager/Assistant Manager
- Minimum Qualification: MASTERS
Description
- Master's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least a second division or equivalent marks and must have at least 3 years of work experience as an officer level in banks and financial institutions or co-operative or related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates having work experience in Institutional Credit Lending in a bank and financial institution, have data analysis and presentation skills and have good knowledge of spreadsheet.
3. Head-Business Development
- Designation : Assistant Manager
- Minimum Qualification : MASTERS
Description
- Master's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least a second division or equivalent marks and must have at least 3 years of work experience as an officer level in banks and financial institutions or co-operative or related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates having Market Analysis skills, Data Analysis skills, Presentation skills, and good knowledge of Spreadsheet.
4. Head-Internal Audit
- Designation : Senior Officer/Officer/Assistant Officer
- Minimum Qualification : BACHELORS
Description
- Master's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks or Passed the Chartered Accountancy exam or Bachelor's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks and must have at least 3 years of work experience in a bank and financial institution or co-operative or related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates having passed the Chartered Accountancy and have work experience in relevant area.
5. Legal Officer
- Position : Senior Officer/Officer
- Minimum Qualification : BACHELORS
Description
- Master's Degree in Business Law from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks or Bachelor's Degree in Business Law from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks and having at least 3 years of work experience in relevant area.
- Preference will be given to candidates work experience in Legal department of bank and financial institution or co-operative sector
6. Training/Standardization Officer
- Designation : Senior Officer/Officer/Assistant Officer
- Minimum Qualification : BACHELORS
Description
- Master's Degree in Management / Humanities (Economics) / Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks or Bachelor's Degree in Management / Humanities (Economics) / Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks and having at least 3 years of work experience in a bank and financial institution or co-operative or related field.
- In the case of senior officer and officer: Master's degree with 4 years and 2 years of work experience in the related field respectively, or Bachelor's degree with 7 years and 5 years of work experience respectively.
- Preference will be given to candidates having work experience in training, standardization, and certification field.
7. Branch Manager
- Designation : Senior Officer/Officer/Assistant Officer
- Minimum Qualification : BACHELORS
Description
- Master's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks or Bachelor's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks and having at least 3 years of work experience in a bank and financial institution or co-operative or related field.
- In the case of senior officer and officer: Master's degree with 4 years and 2 years of work experience in the related field respectively, or Bachelor's degree with 7 years and 5 years of work experience respectively.
- Preference will be given to candidates having worked as a branch manager in a bank or financial institution or a manager in a co-operative.
8. Credit Officer (Agriculture/Micro Credit/Project Financing)
- Designation : Officer/Assistant Officer
- Minimum Qualification : BACHELORS
Description
- Master's Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks or Bachelor in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks and having at least 3 years of work experience in a bank and financial institution or co-operative or related field.
- In the case of officer: Master's degree with 2 years of work experience in the related field or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience in the related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates having work experience in micro loans, agricultural loans, and project loans.
9 . Position: Junior Assistant
- Minimum Qualification: : PLUS TWO
- Number of Vacancies: 60
Description :
- 10+2 or equivalent in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized educational institution with at least second division marks.
10 .Position: Management Trainee
- Minimum Qualification: : BACHELOR’S
- Number of Vacancies: 15
Description :
- Master’s Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks or Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Humanities (Economics)/Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division or equivalent marks and having at least 3 years of work experience in a bank and financial institution or co-operative sector or related field.
