Location: IT Plaza, Nepal
Reporting To: Fund Supervisor
NIMB Ace Capital, representing the fund supervisor committee of both NIBL Mutual Fund and Mega Mutual Fund, is looking for a highly skilled Secretarial Officer with a Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring coordination of fund reporting activities and supporting the supervisor committee's operations in compliance with prevailing mutual fund regulations. The selected candidate will facilitate seamless communication between the Fund Supervisor and management, thereby contributing significantly to the efficient functioning of the mutual funds managed by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Fund Supervisor. Work closely with the Fund Supervisor to prepare and deliver fund-related reports accurately and on time, ensuring that all documentation meets required standards.
- Liaison Role: Serve as an intermediary between the Fund Supervisor and the management team, ensuring that all activities related to the mutual funds are executed efficiently and effectively. This role includes disseminating information, updates, and feedback between parties.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards relevant to mutual funds. This includes staying updated on any changes in regulations that could impact fund operations.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of financial reports to various stakeholders including regulators, clients, and internal management. This responsibility emphasizes the importance of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial documentation.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain organized and effective documentation systems along with clear communication channels that facilitate information sharing among the Fund Supervisor, management, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Background: The candidate must possess a CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification or an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification, ensuring a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
- Fund Management Knowledge: A solid understanding of fund management principles, mutual fund operations, and Portfolio Management Services (PMS) reporting is essential for this position.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional coordination and communication skills are vital for liaising effectively between various parties and ensuring that information is transmitted clearly and accurately.
- Independence and Efficiency. The ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial, as this role often requires quick thinking and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to interpret complex data and provide insights that will benefit the fund management process.
