The transition years- Need of the Hour.
In this ever changing scenario which we live in, it has been proven that a student of this generation needs to be well-equipped and academically sound to stand shoulders above the rest of the mass. A complete student in this new generation
should possess the foundations of a solid education, innovative aptitude, technical know-how and also at the same time be street smart to excel in his/her chosen field.

We, at LIC are committed on inculcating these values in our students such that they develop into responsible educated citizens, leaders, managers, researchers, entrepreneurs, the young generation of the future who will lead the country to
progress and development in all walks of life. We aim to teach our students to navigate and develop skills to discover the direction they want their lives to take. Further, we firmly believe that a student should be rich in human values and reflect the rich heritage of our Nepalese culture for which we are known world-wide. Therefore we strive to incorporate this fundamental and indispensable value to our students such that they transform into cultured personalities.

Laurence Steinberg rightly stated ‘Adolescence is like starting a car without having a skilled driver behind the wheel’ so it is very important that at this age, a teacher provides the role of a friend, philosopher, guide, that factor which can steer the unskilled driver along the right path away from accidents and mishaps. This example strongly outlines the importance of right guidance at this crucial period in the life of an adolescent student. The point, therefore is that in the present context, choosing a College as a vehicle of higher study is not a decision to be made without thought. Much thinking and careful planning needs to be put in before a decision is made.
