AITM signs two MoUs with SolBridge School
SolBridge International School of Business under Woosong University signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs)—one general and one about student exchange—with Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) in Lalitpur.
The MoUs were signed on August 25 in South Korea by Prof John Endicott, President of Woosong University and Prof Sriram Bhagut Mathe, Chairperson of Nepal Education Foundation-Consortium of Colleges, Nepal (NEF-CCN).
According to the press release, the general MoU pledges to introduce undergraduate and graduate programs of SolBridge in Nepal as well as exchange of faculty and staff, students, scientific materials, publications, cultural activities and conducting of joint conferences and academic programs.
Through the MoU on student exchange, there will be opportunities for student exchange programs for undergraduate and graduate students of AITM and SolBridge for one semester or a year. The tuition fees will be waived for the duration of the exchange program.
The student exchange program will start with SolBridge accepting four students from Nepal for one semester. Next, AITM will accept exchange students from SolBridge from 2018.
Prof Mathe, during a presentation, spoke about the college’s plan to offer academic programs from SolBridge to students here as soon as possible. The degrees will be available to students at affordable fees, and welcomes students not only from Nepal but from the entire South Asian region.
