ANNFSU to picket DAOs today
Kathmandu: The CPN-UML-aligned All Nepal National Free Students’ Union announced today that it will encircle all District Administration Offices (DAOs) tomorrow to press political leaders and Constituent Assembly members to complete peace and statute-making processes sooner than later.
In a statement, the ANNFSU said the two-hour programme will begin from 11 am. The student body accused the UCPN-Maoist, largest party in the CA, of not taking peace and statute-making processes seriously.
It has urged people from various walks of life to press the government and other stakeholders for democracy, peace and statute.
ANNFSU has threatened to launch a decisive protest if parties fail to complete the peace process and introduce a people-friendly statute on time.
