CIAA investigating medical colleges
Biratnagar: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has started investigation into complaints lodged against Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar about its affiliation and quota distribution.
A team from the CIAA led by Krishna Maharjan confiscated the college’s documents concerning the case on Wednesday. “We have started investigating the documents,” said Maharjan, but did not give any specifics.
CIAA monitors UCMS
The CIAA monitored and investigated the Universal College of Medical Sciences at Bhairahawa on Wednesday and Thursday. A team led by CIAA western chief Durga Pokharel monitored laboratory of the college, pharmacy, account section, hostel and manpower among others. They monitored the set standards followed by the college.
