VACANCY NOTICE
Habitat for Humanity International Nepal
Position: Volunteering for development (V4D) Officer
- No. of vacancies: 1 (One)
- Duration: One Year and Extendable
- Location: Kathmandu
- Reports to: Sr. Manager - Resource Development & Communications
- Field Visits: 60% travel (Domestic)
Core Function: The incumbent will work closely with the Resource Development and Communications Team (RDComms) at Habitat Nepal and will support the execution of Habitat’s overall volunteering for development strategy. Working closely with the V4D Coordinator, s/he will support operationalization of Habitat’s V4D action plan, implementation of Global Village program and support partnerships with volunteer and youth lead organizations.
Education Qualification and Professional Experience
- Undergraduate in development studies, or related subjects.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Competencies
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills; innovative and creative thinker.
- Willingness and ability to work closely with other departments, institutions, and across cultures.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality results.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
