Gearing up for 11th Higher Education and Career Fair
The 11th Higher Education & Career Fair, jointly organized by Direction Nepal and JCI is all set to kick off on June 21 and end on June 24 at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall.
The first leg of the expo concluded in in Pokhara at the FNCCI Exhibition Hall from June 15 to 17. “The response from the students and parents were not up to our expectation but it went as we planned,” said Pashupati KC of Direction Nepal at a press meet held at United World Trade Center in Tripureshwore on June 19.
The expo is all set to lure students and parents in Kathmandu with over 100 stalls and 80 exhibitors, international and national institutes, some offering on-the-spot admissions and scholarships.

“We are focusing more on higher education, which is after +2, but we also cater to SLC passed students,” informed Suman Maharjan, Event Manager at Direction Nepal.
“There are many good schools and colleges in Nepal and many subjects are widely available here too and we want to focus on that. However, for students who want to study abroad, we would advise them to choose a consultancy very carefully,” said KC.
The entrance ticket price, keeping in mind the students, is set at Rs 20 each.
The Higher Education & Career Fair is the oldest education event that started 12 years ago in 2002. The expo has been providing platforms for young students to gather information on colleges and their higher education.
The fair is also to take place in Narayanghat at Chitwan Higher Secondary School from June 28 to 30, 2012.
