Softwarica College of IT and E-Commerce, announces an IT awareness program for high-school graduates starting from the first week of June.
A one month long program, the program will focus on the fundamentals of IT, IT awareness and opportunities among Nepali youth and web designing course.
“No matter which field today’s youth chose to pursue, they need an IT background because most of all the work is done on the computer these days,” says Amrit Thapa, Business Development Manager at Softwarica College.
“Young people need to understand the basics of IT, no matter what they chose to do. And also, there are a lot of bridge course that help students get into specific programs but there is no bridge course for IT programs and our students from the IT Club want to impart this basic knowledge of IT onto young students,” he adds.
As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the college, the awareness program hopes to bring awareness about IT education in the country.
The program is designed in a way that lets prospective students sample IT education first and decide if IT is the field that they want to pursue their undergraduate degree in.
The program is organized by the IT Club of Softwarica College and is free of cost. For more information and contact details, visit www.softwarica.edu.np.
