Position: English and School Education Programme Manager
- Further Information: Pay Band: 6
- Contract Type: Indefinite Contract
- Location: Nepal
- Candidate should have legal right to work in Nepal.

Role Purpose
Implementation of projects with a middle level of complexity funded by British Council or by another client or funding mechanism. Leads the successful delivery of a range of projects from start to finish including managing the contract or project plan, managing client or internal stakeholders, successfully achieving reporting and meeting compliance standards.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field

Language: English at CEFR proficiency level C1

Minimum/essential:
- Experience of managing projects from start to finish and familiarity with project life-cycles
- Understanding of procurement, evaluation and reporting requirements of projects
- Proven experience of managing project finances
- Experience of managing stakeholders
- More than 7 years working in project or programme management
- Experience of using technology in project delivery
- Good understanding and experience of supporting monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in writing proficiently in both English and Nepali languages
- Strong presentation skills in both English and Nepali languages

Desirable:
- Foundation level Project Management certificate
- CELTA qualification or a minimum of three years’ teaching/training experience
- Master’s degree in education with substantial technical and project management experience
