Farmer-to-Farmer Project Overview
CRS Nepal is supporting the agriculture and livelihoods sector in Nepal with multiple research projects on cash crops and goat value chains and its ongoing USAID Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program. The F2F Program, which is funded by USAID, provides technical assistance from United States (U.S) expert volunteers to farmers, farmer groups (cooperatives and associations), agribusinesses and other agriculture sector institutions. The main goal of the program is to generate sustainable, broad-based economic growth in the agricultural sector through voluntary technical assistance. A secondary goal is to increase the U.S. public’s understanding of international development issues and programs and international understanding of the U.S. and U.S. development programs.
