VACANCY NOTICE
Helen Keller Intl. is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) working in health and nutrition in Nepal since 1988 to improve the nutritional status of women and young children through evidence-based research and programs. Helen Keller Intl. in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population (Nutrition Section) and with ethical approval from the Nepal Health Research Council is conducting a research study on multiple micronutrients supplementation. We request applications from qualified individuals for short-term assignments as mentioned below:
Position: Research Officer - Consultant
- Tentative duration: (Approximately 66 days).
Background:
The Research officers (consultant) will be responsible for enrolling study participants through data collection on a regular basis at different data collection points including 7 days enrollment survey, and 30 days follow-up visit. The consultant will also facilitate coordination at district and health facility level and provide continued supportive supervision for the study participant’s enrollment.

- Sudurpaschim Province: Kanchanpur (Krishnapur, Belauri, Suklaphanta, Bedkot Municipality)

Summary of the Job Purpose:
The primary role of this position is to collect data from the study participants at different data collection points. This includes the enrollment of study participants and obtaining written informed consent, ensuring ethical guidelines.
The research officers will have to go through 3 days of training on overall program overview, data collection methodologies, and ensuring ethical Compliance.
